I think this gotta be the best artwork I've seen from you till now. I really like the dramatic colors and light. You have really managed to give it a dramatic appearance. Beautiful details as well.
By the way, I have always wanted to ask you this question (out of curiosity, not to offend or anything): Do you use poser or other 3d tools as reference for the light and shading? I don't know why... but I kinda got this feeling looking at your previous works...

What does it make me feel? Colors always have a huge impact on me, so the first feeling that came was.... happiness. But I also feel mystery and enchantment.

The color scheme is impressive, and the texturing as well.

Simple anatomy critique: Although his left arm should appear smaller because of the perspective, it looks too short and thin in relation to his torso. I'd suggest at least filling out the forearm a little bit more. Otherwise very nice!

This is a very intriguing image. I love the colors and the lighting is really pretty impressive. I think the dodge tool has been used a little bit too much in this image, though.

Solalia; Actually the dodge tool wasn't used at all XD I wanted it to be that luminous.

I wouldn't use white then, it makes it look like you've used the dodge tool and it also causes the piece to look very flat. Same with the black outline, I would pick something a little bit lighter than black for the outlines.

Solalia; Actually I used a really pale gold and pale green :} Which is still visible on my screen - however I do have a HD screen so maybe that's why? I have no idea XD Either way thanks for the advice.

Well I'm using an apple cinema HD display and it looks pretty white from here. It's still a very nice piece though.

fantastic, great bady work and the textureing.. very cool, Depth is fantastic too, bulring the hands slightly to bring more attention to the face and eyes is a master stroke not that the face needs much more attention ads its that strong... all in all Great!!

i love everything about this except the textures on the skin. i kinda feel they're overkill and look kinda unnatural..like you would've used a brush instead of adapting them to his shape.
i love the colors and the pose and the mysterious little smile..quite captivating!

Wow great work, amazing colour palette as well. You've shaped mood well with your lighting but I think some eye candy in the eye grabbing areas would've been nice i.e some more jewelery in those white spots would've added to the overall unity.

It makes me feel... observed. And measured.
I love the textures, and how they are not applied accurately to the skin, which looks cool. Nice colours! And a brilliant shine in the eyes. He reminds me a bit of a fiery merman.
