Description
Some sailors talk of the Siren's song, the deadly and seductive melody of the ocean sung by demon women who seek nothing more than to drown their unsuspecting lovers. But, the piercing strings heard across the oceans, of a lone fiddler playing ungodly melodies is what is most feared. He seeks the riches the ship's hold, and the flesh of the men that sail the great sea vessels. He calls up the Maelstrom Orchestra, the frenzied winds and the towering waves that dance and whip to his will. Lured by the deadly melodies, they are doomed to Davey Jone's locker beneath the mother sea.Done in Photoshop CS2 with my Wacom Intuous3. I know I don't do a lot of colour work like this, but I feel so free of tension and unrest when I do. These colours are a favourite of mine to combine. I did a painting of a falling Angel some time back with the same.
