Hello again GFX

I'm still alive!

I don't just do fully refined digital paintings, sometimes I doodle too - especially when I'm in an art block, all my inspriation has drained away and my muse is still annoyed with me for giving it a wedgie last time I tried to draw anything.

So this is Laurent, again playing his violin. I'm currently writing a lot about him in my vampire novels, so I thought it fitting that he should be the subject of this doodle.

Photoshop CS2 and my Wacom Intuous3. I did have some reference for the pose, but I didn't save the image so I have no idea where it came from, sorry!

I can't find fault with it, except for one thing that I got critted on last time I drew a violinist. The bow should be held closer to the bridge, you can't play it with the bow on the fingerboard like that. It's a minor thing really, but it's the only thing I can see to crit here

I don't play the violin, sadly, and the reference I used had the bow held there, but I shall bear that in mind for future paintings!

Stunning. I love the atmosphere.
Can't believe you did that with PS. I thought it was umbra ink or some waterbased color. Especially at the background. Nice effect. How did you do it? Looks great.
No matter how hard I look at it, I don't find anything that bothers me.
Ok, the hand that holds the bow could use a bit work. To be precise the ring finger and the "little finger" (don't know the english work). But I know that hands are an art for themselves and very difficult to get done fluently, so wtf.
