Oh, this is beautiful! Agree with the above comments. The mood seems gothic and somehow sad. I think her eyes are too large, though. I'm obsessed with eyes, so I'd spend something like one hour improving them! xD nvm, nvm.

Blue Dream; I was thinking of adding a bit more to the hand actually. In the cold light of day I can see they're not terribly detailed.

Madanapale; I was sort of going for a sketchy half finished look for the dress, as I wanted to draw attention to her face and the lilies. But, I do agree that the positioning of her arm looks a bit wrong. I had trouble with it once I cropped the image. How do you suggest I fix this?

Daykan; What a lovely comment, thank you! I really appreciate it. I intended the eyes to hold a strange air about them, hence why they're oversized and that typical droopy look only bred into the British upperclass ;p

How I would fix it?....I do a little drawing but I am not a painter ......I would look at my self in a mirror.....I would not leave any space between the waist and the arm.....I would use dark tones on all the dress and minimal use of folds.......and I would crop a little from the bottom.
